For the third year, Toms River Regional Schools thanks JF Party Dragon Charity, located in Beachwood, for their generous donation of backpacks filled with school supplies for students in our school community who are in need. On August 28, the charity delivered 20 backpacks to each of our 18 schools.
Mr. Thomas Nuara (far right), CEO of JF Party Dragon Charity, and two of his volunteers dropped by High School North to deliver the backpacks to Ed Keller, North's principal.
Throughout the summer months, JF Party Dragon Charity hosted fundraisers and collected donations in order to meet their goal of purchasing and filling 500 backpacks for children in TRRS, Central Regional School District, and Lacey Township Schools.
It is the charity's mission "to build a better, bigger, more beautiful tomorrow for those less fortunate in our local community." They choose not to focus their work in one specific area, but instead try to reach as many people as possible through many different types of fundraising and donation drives.
The charity posted a video on Instagram that captured their team of volunteers assembling the backpacks for this year's delivery.
