Students Participate in Book Buddies and Robotics Club

Wednesdays are a busy, yet enjoyable time for students at Beachwood Elementary!

This year, two new programs were implemented by teacher volunteers to help support students and offer additional learning opportunities outside of the school day.

Book Buddies joins first graders with a fifth grade peer tutor who teaches various reading strategies and fosters a love of books.

Down the hall in the Media Center, fourth grade students have the opportunity to participate in the Robotics Club where students work cooperatively to solve challenges, develop critical thinking skills, and think outside of the box.
