ED Family Fitness

There was a great turnout for East Dover's Family Fitness Night! Families rotated to four different stations to get moving and learn about a healthy lifestyle.

February 26, 2019 -- On February 12th, East Dover Elementary students and their families came together for Family Fitness Night. It was a night designed for fun and to raise money for the American Heart Association.

East Dover families were encouraged to perform a variety of physical activities and learned about the importance of EXERCISE + NUTRITION= HEALTHY LIFESTYLE.

Students rotated to four different stations throughout the school and learned that relaxation, exercise, nutrition, and physical therapy are all important parts of being healthy. This brochure was made available to everyone in attendance and provided lots of good information and tips.

In addition to having fun, the students and family members learned that giving back to the community also makes you feel good.

Just another day that the BEARS of East Dover are helping others!
