Several community organizations, including the Toms River Police Department, Ocean County Sheriff's Department, and the Ocean County Health Department, teamed up with High School North's chapter of Students Against Destructive Decisions (SADD) in an effort to bring heightened awareness to the critical issue of driving under the influence of drugs and alcohol. The Ocean County Health Department recently sponsored an event called, "3-D Drinking, Drugging and Driving," which was held at the Ocean County Mall. Many people in our Toms River community and beyond attended the event.
SADD is a national youth health and safety organization focused on empowering young people to make good decisions when faced with tough choices and peer pressures in their daily lives. The positive choices that these young people make will ultimately advance their health, well-being, and safety. More information about SADD can be found here.
