Fourth and fifth grade Omni students built Geodesic Clubhouses as part of their study of architecture. Popularized by Buckminster Fuller in the mid-twentieth century, geodesic domes are structures made from a complex network of triangles. Using their research, fifth grade students wrote an essay persuading someone to build a dome, and fourth grade students wrote a story with a geodesic dome as its setting.
