  • Students in Grades K-4

    This year's school yearbook will contain 60 full color pages and will have photos of all classes in the school in addition to a large section devoted to our 5th grade students. All fifth graders receive a free yearbook; Students in grades K-4 may purchase a yearbook for $25. To pre-order a yearbook, please visit and enter the yearbook code 2133819. The online sale will end in mid-April. Yearbooks will be distributed in June
  • Parents of Fifth Graders

    Every 5th grade student will receive a free yearbook as a gift from our PTO. If you would like to submit a Good Luck Message and/or a Baby Picture to be featured in this year's yearbook, please send in your order no later than Monday, March 4th. Order forms have been distributed. Please contact Mrs. McCarthy if you need another one.

8:45 AM School Begins

2:50 PM School Day Ends for  Students

2:55 PM Buses Depart

In the event of a delayed opening, students should arrive at school between 10:05 and 10:15 AM.

Unplanned early dismissal is 1:15 PM.

AM Drop-Off Procedures (8:30-8:40): Drop students off at front door of school building. Students should exit car from the passenger side. Students who arrive before the 8:35 bell  will be directed to the B and C wing cafeterias. Upon hearing the 8:40 bell, students proceed to their classrooms. Please do not drop students off before 8:25, as there is no supervision available.

PM Pick-Up Procedures (2:55PM): Park in parking lot on the "Bubble" side of the rear of the building. Students will be dismissed to the parking lot after the buses depart. If you are signing out your child before 2:30PM, park in the front of the building and enter through the front door to the Main Office, where you will be required to show ID and sign your child out.

Official grades received from the NJDOE, for the Self-Assessment from the previous reporting period - Hooper's school grade for the 2016-17 school year was 78/78. The Toms River Regional Schools' grade was 77/78.
The School Self-Assessment program grades each public school and school district's efforts to implement the Anti-Bullying Bill of Rights Act (ABR). Schools and school districts are encouraged to utilize this annual requirement to assess, reinforce and strengthen harassment, intimidation and bullying (HIB) prevention and intervention programs, policies and practices.
