Trick or Treat at High School East  was a huge success!   Costumed Raiders handed out candy at all the downstairs classrooms doors that were decorated for the holiday.         More than 800 trick-or-treaters walked the hallways and collected candy, and then headed into the Student Center where there was dancing and refreshments. This is the third year of this EAST community service project - and by far  the most successful. Thank you to all members of the community who participated in this event.

Self-defense tactics were demonstrated to the female students in Junior Health classes during a recent Guest Speaker Symposium

Defensive Tactic Instructors, Jennifer Jukas and Thomas Grosse from the Toms River Police Department are shown demonstrating self-defense tactics to the female students in the junior health classes.
This demonstration was part of the High School East junior health "Public Speaker Symposium."  Speakers and presentations have been part of the third quarter lessons.

On Monday, June 11, High School East held its annual "Senior Awards Night" program.  Representatives from business, associations, family scholarships, clubs, etc. had the honor to present each recipient with his award.  This money did not reflect what each student may have additionally received from the college they will be attending.  In total, the Class of 2007 has received nearly 2 million dollars in scholarships.
