Key Club  2007-2008

Advisor: Mr. C. Morley

Toms River High School North Key Club is an extension of the Key Club International, an affiliate of Kiwanis International.  Key Club is a non-profit service group that works to better the lives of people both locally and internationally.

North Key Club volunteers at local institutions, such as the Children's Specialized Hospital, participate in health walks for various diseases and disorders, and fundraise for local and international organizations.

This year, North Key Club is sponsoring the local Oceans of Love Foundation, which helps the families of children with cancer in our area.  We intend to donate at least $1000.00 to their cause this year.  In addition, we will be attending the March of Dimes, the Heart Walk, the Juvenile Diabetes Walk, the Relay for Life, and other health walks with the Walker's Club; visiting with children at the Children's Specialized Hospital; attending District and Division Key Club events and fundraisers; and fundraising for UNICEF and Camp Better Days, a camp for the children of victims of 9/11.

Key Club members are expected to work hard for their club. All members must attend five meetings during the year and earn 15 points, which are awarded depending on the level of service and the amount of money raised by each Key Clubber.
