Credit Hours and Failure to Makeup

   It is district mandate to make up all failures in one of two ways.

1. To attend summer school to make up the deficiency OR

2. Repeat all required courses during the year following the course failure.  This may require students to attend high school for five years in order to complete high school graduation requirements.

Additionally...

• No student will be permitted to take two required courses from the same academic discipline (example - two physical education courses) in the same year to make up for a previous failure.  The only exception is during a student's senior year when a student may double up in one discipline.
