April Board of Education meeting
The April 20, 2016 board meeting featured many exciting happenings. The Jay and Linda Grunin foundation presented a check to the Board of Education for the Principal's Challenge. The Board announced that April is Autism Awareness Month. The Board of Education also commended an Eagle Scout, an All State Orchestra selected student and members of the Teen Arts Festival. Quail in the Classroom
HSN students in Mr. Vernachio's Biology classes are preparing for the hatching of Northern Bobwhite Quail. They have been incubating for the last few weeks and are due to hatch any day now. Quail in the Classroom is a statewide program where students hatch wild quail and learn about habitat conservation in the state.
