NATIONAL MERIT SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM SEMIFINALISTS
Friday, September 21, 2007

Christina Sarris (High School South), William Adam Goble (High School North), and Rose Wdowiak (High School East) were recognized by the Board of Education for achieving the status of Semifinalist in the 2008 National Merit Scholarship Competition.

The students were recognized in the 2008 competition based on the scores they received after taking the PSAT/NMSQT as juniors. There were approximately 16,000 Semifinalists named from across the country, which represents less than 1% of U.S. high school seniors who took the PSAT/NMSQT. The students identified as Semifinalists are the highest scoring entrants in each state.
