The Board of Education honored Gold Star recipients at the April meeting.  Unfortunately, we experience the tragic loss of a student or staff member which causes teachers and students alike to need a support system that extends beyond guidance counselors' realm.  In these cases, members of the Toms River Regional Schools' Crisis Team descend on the school community to provide guidance, support, insight and assistance.

The Crisis Team members are available around the clock to provide the loving shoulder to cry on, the voice of support and assistance to get each member of a grieving school community to deal with the loss.  These individuals were recognized with a Gold Star for unwavering dedication and tireless efforts!
