2008 Summer Enrichment Program

Minicamps for Grades 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, and 8

Parents/Guardians:

Is your son or daughter looking for something to do this summer? How about attending one or more of the minicamps offered by the school district? Toms River Regional Schools is offering one-week minicamps in Social Studies, Math, Science, Lanuage Arts, and Technology. The minicamps are not remedial. They are enrichment programs that are project-oriented and geared for high student interest. Classes take place in the technology labs so there will be opportunity to utilize the available resources.

Time

Students will meet daily for a 50-minute class, Monday through Friday. All classes will be scheduled for A.M. sessions, either 8:00, 9:00, 10:00, or 11:00 depending on the student’s grade level. Note: At many of the sites students will be permitted to stay for two periods depending on enrollment. Each camp is one week. However, students may enroll for one, two, three, four, or five weeks. Enrollment weeks do not need to be consecutive. There will be no classes held on Wednesday July 4, 2007
