Materials:

 

 

9 x 12 white paper, pencil, 12 inch ruler, small caps (round and about the size of bottle caps.)

 

 

Procedure:

 

A discussion will include how objects may look further away and close-up. We will talk about how an artist can create three dimensional space in a two dimensional painting and create a feeling of actual depth.

 

I will demonstrate a simple technique starting with a vanishing point. After the demonstration, students will work on their own. They will reproduce a three dimensional drawing as instructed.
