- Understand the difference between foreground, middle ground, and background [AC]
- Make the connections between themselves and by artist in works of art [AH]

- Paper I 2"x 18"
- Rulers
- Pencils
- Erasers

PROCEDURE
A. Discuss "Homes", Books [II, G] & Architecture
B. Project steps:
- Hold paper horizontally
- Measure 9" and make dot with pencil
- Fold corner to dot
- Fold'other corner to meet in middle
- Draw outside of house on outside of paper
- Cut off roofline
- Draw inside of house on inside of paper
- Color inside and out!
EVALUATION
- Teacher/student discussion/evaluation based on successful completion of project objectives
- Student feedback based on individual or class discussion
- Completed work for display
