OBJECTIVE
- Shape: Recognize and utilize irregular shapes
- Art History: Recall historical content mentioned in the lesson
- Aesthetics: Make an aesthetic responses to works of art and their own art
- Art Production: Create a 2D project of a Stain Glass using 2-D paper techniques
- Art Criticism: Observe the effects of line, shape, color, texture, space in works of art [AC, AH]
MATERIALS
- Pencils
- Erasers
- Paper 12"x 9" black paper
- Tissue paper many colors l4"x 11"
- Scissors
- Stain glass books
PROCEDURE
A. Fold paper and cut out shape
B. Fold paper in a different place and cut out shapes
C. Continue until paper is filled with cut shapes
B. Don't cut edge of paper
E. Put glue on paper, not too much
F. Put tissue on top of paper with glue up
G. Trim tissue paper
EVALUATION
A. Grade work for content objectives daily at the end of class
B. Teacher/student discussion/evaluation based on successful completion of project objectives
C. Student feedback based on individual or class discussion
D. Completed work for display
