Thank a Teacher Project

This project is designed to inspire schools and individuals to recognize teachers who have had made a valuable contribution to our lives. Everyone needs a little pat on the back once in a while. Perhaps it will also encourage individuals to consider teaching as a profession. Our children deserve the best education and the finest teachers we can provide for them.

Take a few moments to Thank a Teacher. Reflect on what they may have contributed to your life. Why are they special? Email your story to project coordinator Kim L. Defibaugh, Ed.D. at kdefibau@tomsriver.k12.nj.us. In your story please include the following information:

Please send in only one story per individual or school. You may also send photos of students while drawing or writing about teachers as well as displays of finished work. You must have permission for pictures of students or staff to be posted on this site. Photos should be sent as email attachments in .gif or .jpg format. Once information has been submitted, participation will be noted on the web site. Have fun with the project and thank you for participating!
