Youth Art Month 2000 Walnut Street Elementary School Toms River, New Jersey Art Teachers: Jack McGovern and Jane Crnobori

The three photos below show artwork created by the students of Jack McGovern. The paper mache pot was created by a second grade artist at Walnut Street Elementary School in Toms River, New Jersey.

Also during Youth Art Month, Mr. McGovern and his students constructed shopping bags and created designs on the bags to advertise a fictitious store or product.

Mrs. Crnobori works at two elementary schools, Walnut Street and Hooper Avenue. During Youth Art Month her students made these aquarium collages and crayon resist aquariums.

Her students also created these "Kinetic Art" drawings. Students selected two colored markers and drew lines in one direction with the first color and used the second color to draw lines in the opposite direction.
