Youth Art Month 2001 New Jersey Governor's Awards in Art Education

On May 30, 2001, the Alliance for Arts Education/New Jersey and the New Jersey Department of Education co-sponsored a ceremony for the New Jersey Governor's Awards in Arts Education. The ceremony was held at the War Memorial on West Lafayette Street in Trenton. At the presentation ceremony, art educators and art students were honored for their outstanding achievement in the arts. There was a reception in the ballroom following the ceremony.
