ASR - Authentic Science Research

Authentic Science Research is a 3 year elective program which affords students the opportunity to participate in the community of scientific research and scholarship as part of their high school experience. High School students begin this course in their sophomore year and will be in the program for the remaining three years of their high school education. When accepted into ASR, students have the opportunity to conduct independent research on any topic. After three years of research, a final paper will be entered into the Intel Science Search competition along with other competitions. 12 College Credits will be earned through Kean University.  

ASR furthers excellence in performance and achievement while drawing from, and developing, scientific capabilities in a broad spectrum of the student body.
