Box Tops for Education and POP Tops   Send in your Box Tops with your child’s name and teacher’s name written on the back of the Box Top.  This will enter your child into a monthly drawing for a $10.00 Wal-Mart gift card,. Also, send in Pop Tops from soda cans in a Ziploc bag to be donated to the Ronald McDonald House. Text Box: If ever you or your organization would like to place any information in the PTO newsletter, please contact me by the Thursday after the PTO meeting at  908-278-3634 or at pjkappock@comcast.net.                                      Kimberly Kappock                       Text Box:   Text Box: March of Dimes Spaghetti Dinner   West Dover’s March of Dimes Committee would like to thank the West Dover PTO and many other sponsors for their contributions to the  2nd annual March of Dimes Spaghetti dinner.  They were able to serve approximately 300 people.  $1500 was raised for the March of Dimes Text Box:   Text Box:       NJ ASK TEST   Mr. Keller advised that the NJ ASK tests are approaching.  Grades 3 and 4 will take the test in March, and Grade 5 will take them in May.  Teachers and Administration are getting the kids ready to succeed on this test. Text Box:   Text Box: Spring Pictures       Lifetouch will once again take Spring Pictures on April 4th.  This is a very easy fundraiser for the PTO as they get $2.00 for each child that sits for the picture.  Last year the pictures were great, especially with all of the extra’s (laminated key chains and book marks) that were able to be purchased with the packages.  Look for a flyer in March. Text Box:               Author Visit   DyAnne DiSalvo– Ryan will be visiting West Dover on February 20th to present her program “Great Neighbors make Great Communities.”  She is an author/illustrator, whose themes are about helping others and helping in the community.  The West Dover PTO will be having a Family Fun Night to tie into the  author visit on February 29th.  The theme of the Family Fun Night will be about reading books.  Watch out for a flyer to come home.  Text Box:       School Store The West Dover PTO has the school store open on the last Thursday of each month.  Please sign up to work if you are available during the day.  It is  very easy to do as you just need to help the kids make purchases, add and collect the money.  There are 2 shifts available.  Please contact Samantha Scrudato at 732-818-7587, if you are interested in working.   Text Box:     Memory Book     Meetings to put together the Memory book are every Thursday night at 7:00.  If you are interested in being on this committee, please come to the meetings.  Remember to keep sending those pictures in for the Memory Book.  The memory book Committee is looking for pictures from the 5th grade Columbus Day Celebration, and the 4th grade Medieval Feast.  Also any pictures from individual class parties are also needed.  Please send them into school in an envelope labeled West Dover Memory Book.
