Tyson Project A+ - New to West Dover  -  All we have to do is clip and save the entire Project A+ label from participating Tyson products.  Each label that we collect is worth 24 cents for our school.  Look for this symbol on bags or boxes of Tyson products, and send into School.  Foodtown Community Rewards Program - Use your S & H Foodtown Points Card & donate your Green points to West Dover.  For every 1000 points donated, West Dover receives $1.00.   Target fundraiser – Register West Dover to your Target charge card & every time you shop West Dover will receive money.   Tell your friends and family too. Box Tops for Education and POP Tops-Send in your box tops with your child’s name and teacher’s name written on the back of the Box Top.  This will enter your child into a monthly drawing for a $10.00 Wal-Mart gift card,. Also, send in Pop Tops from soda cans in a Ziploc bag to be donated to the Ronald McDonald House. Text Box:                         Text Box: Teacher Appreciation—Last week the PTO celebrated the excellent teachers that we have at West Dover Elementary School.  The PTO gave the teachers a special gift as well as a luncheon on Friday.  Thank you to the Baking Committee for sending in deserts for the teachers on Friday.             Text Box: Text Box:       Text Box: Text Box: Miss Rozwadowski announced that improvements are being made to the  front of the school on the circle.  The trees were beginning to break through the curb. This will  increase the visibility of the children.  The improvements will include small trees, sod and sprinklers.    She also added that the before school programs will end on May 30th.       Text Box:        Family Fun Movie Night Scheduled for Saturday 5/31/08 at 8:15. This will take place in the West Dover Parking Lot, where a Big screen will be brought in.  Families will be asked to bring their own chairs or blanket.  Prices per person, movie choice and snacks will be determined.  Please watch for a flyer to come home with more information.         Text Box:     West Dover Carnival The West Dover Carnival will be held on Saturday June 7th, 2008, 10AM-2PM.  The carnival will be held both indoors and outdoors this year.   There will be food, games, prizes and lots of fun. Your help is needed to make it a success.  There will be food and drink available for purchase using tokens. The PTO needs help with the set up, Friday afternoon after 3:30 and Saturday morning around 8 AM.   Even if you can donate 30 minutes to work, that would be very helpful. Class Coordinators and Parents are asked to spread the word to get help. A suggestion to Class Coordinators may be to send a flyer home in the backpack to remind the parents that help is needed. Committee meetings will be held in order to discuss the Carnival.   Glass baby food jar donations are needed for the sand art.
