Mrs. Julia Joynt

Mrs. Joynt has been a teacher for 14 years.  She was a classroom teacher in Oxford, England.  She taught religion and drama in a private school in Princeton, NJ.  Mrs. Joynt has spent the last 5 years here at West Dover Elementary School teaching music studies.  We are very lucky to have such a warm and enthusiastic personality which has made her a favorite of both our students and their families.

In addition to her classroom duties, Mrs. Joynt coordinates three sections of Chorus and an instrumental group.  She is the District Coordinator of the Garden State Philharmonic Young People’s Concerts. 

Mrs. Joynt sings in the Choir at the Presbyterian Church in Toms River where her husband is the Senior Pastor.  She has 2 wonderful children, Tristan and Madeleine.  Mrs. Joynt enjoys traveling with her family especially to visit family members in England and Canada.   

Mrs. Joynt is always present at school activities, demonstrates a genuine caring for the families at West Dover, and is recognized by her colleagues as being an outstanding educator.
