Ashley Lamb Voted President

Jan. 8, 2025- At its reorganization meeting held this evening at the Maria Ressa Auditorium inside High School North, the Toms River School Board welcomed its three newest members.

Joseph Jubert, who will represent South Toms River Borough; Marisa Matarazzo, who will occupy a seat for Toms River Township; and Lisa Contessa, who previously served as a board member, each took their three-year oaths of office during the public meeting.

The agenda served its named purpose-- to reorganize the board and identify its new leadership. The new-look board voted and selected Ashley Lamb as Board President and James Capone as its Vice President (right).

Those interested in learning a little bit more about their elected educational representatives can visit the recently-updated Meet Your Board of Education Members page on the district website.

Congratulations to our new board members, and thank you the Toms River School Board your dedication to our students and community!
