Jan. 28, 2025- Students from Intermediate East's chorus recently joined willing singers from West Dover and Washington Street elementary schools and more than 300,000 singers from 30 countries in the Young Voices Global Wicked Singalong.

Streamed live from the O2 Arena in London and featuring members of the West End cast — including their Elphaba, British actress Emma Kingston (below) — the event brought students together through powerful songs from Wicked. The music highlighted themes of inclusivity, acceptance, and the power of friendship, reminding students that even though they were miles apart, they were united through singing and a shared love of music.
