July 24, 2025- District administrators gathered today at Intermediate East for their annual retreat, during which they received professional development, strategies, and motivation for the upcoming school year.

The theme for 2025-2026 is ALL IN, centered around creating bigger impacts for students and an even stronger culture within buildings. 

There were also some practical strategies that centered around artificial intelligence. Conversations about AI were led by Thomas Semko and district supervisor Tiffany Lucey.

Superintendent Mike Citta opened the proceedings with a 'state of the district' talk and some positive messages for the upcoming year. Throughout the morning, in addition to the keynote talks, there were activities, team-building exercises, and thought-provoking conversations about how to improve culture and performance in our schools.
