March 11, 2026- All 12 district elementary schools are participants in this year's Youth Art Month celebration, which hosted its opening receptions at the TRAC (Toms River Artist Community) Gallery in downtown Toms River late last week. The World Needs Art is YAM's 2026 theme, and schools followed suit with cake sculptures linking art history and math, elegant mosaic apples, elaborate masks, and numerous samples of visual art evoking wonder, humanity, and joy. While pictured below, art is meant to be experienced in person, and our schools, student artists, and TRAC encourage everyone to visit the gallery, which will be on display at 40 Main Street throughout the month of March.
