June 12, 2025- The district recently celebrated its 12th Annual Military Cording Ceremony at the American Legion. Families, administration, faculty,
and friends came to celebrate the TRRS students who have enlisted in the military. This year, a total of 35 enlisted seniors— 10 from High School North, 12 from East, and 13 from South— are advancing to the U.S. Army, U.S. Navy, NJ Army National Guard, U.S. Marines, U.S. Coast Guard, and U.S. Airforce. There also one Army ROTC scholarship to Penn State awarded at the ceremony.
At the conclusion of the ceremony, all students were given their final oath by Capt. James B. Howell, Commander of Lakehurst Joint Naval Base. Congratulations to these students, and best of luck to them as they graduate high school and move on to a life of service to their country.
