Dom Innarella returns to Intermediate East for performance
Backed by Intermediate East's eighth-grade chorus, Dom Innarella belts out some tunes for the gathered crowd in the school's auditorium Dec. 22.

Homecoming for up-and-coming pop star

Dec. 22, 2025- "We love you, Dom!" was shouted from the seats as students were still filing into the Intermediate East auditorium this morning.

The "Dom" in question was former Rocket and current burgeoning star — singer, actor, social media stalwart — Dom Innarella. If the holidays are all about returning home, Innarella followed suit, and paid his former school a visit to perform a handful of his hits for the assembled crowd.

First things first though, as Innarella spent the pre-show time reconnecting with his former teachers and administrators, including music teacher Marilyn Osmundsen and Principal James Cleveland, who introduced Dom to the excited audience.

For the show, Innarella was backed by his former school's eighth-grade chorus, which learned or, most likely, already knew the first two songs on the setlist. Following those, Dom sang solo, including a holiday jam, and closed with one his biggest hits, "Jersey in July."

It was a positive, upbeat, and welcome performance for the up-and-coming pop star, who spent plenty of time greeting students and fans, signing autographs, and posing for photos.

Speaking of photos, more are below in a slideshow from the performance.
