Downtown 'Night Out' a Boost to Special Olympics, Unified Sports

Sept. 8, 2025- Friday evening was a "night out" for many, who gathered in downtown Toms River for an event that benefited High School East's Unified Sports, part of the Special Olympics community.

The event was hosted by the Toms River Education Foundation and included a number of partnering businesses.

"Toms River Regional Schools' Unified Sports and Special Olympics teams extend a heartfelt thank you to the Toms River Educational Foundation for organizing, our local businesses for hosting, and the entire community for supporting Friday’s Toms River Downtown Night Out fundraiser," said Special Education Supervisor Catherine Mellon. "It was a wonderful evening, and we are so grateful for your support of our teams."
