East Celebrates National Merit Scholarship Semifinalist | Toms River Regional School District

Sept. 16, 2024-- High School East student Michael Pavao is a semifinalist in the National Merit Scholarship program, the school learned last week. It was certainly an occasion worth celebrating, as the prestigious competition recognized only 16,000 semifinalists this year of the 1.3 million who entered by taking the PSATs as juniors. HSE Principal Erin Anders made sure Pavao was recognized for his accomplishment, as photos were snapped on Friday and shared on the school's Facebook page.
