Feb. 25, 2026- According to school administrators, fellow staff members, and students, Intermediate South's Regina Feliz truly embodies what it means to be ALL IN.
Through her Life Skills Club, Feliz consistently finds meaningful ways for students to give back and strengthen the school community, the most recent example being having her students bake cupcakes to show appreciation for their bus drivers. But that's just one instance of the type of kindness, thoughtfulness, and Seminole pride she exhibits and fosters daily.
"Mrs. Feliz’s love and dedication to her students shines each and every day," said Int. South Assistant Principal Casey Daniel. "She goes above and beyond, often purchasing materials herself so students can create memorable food projects while engaging in authentic, hands-on, cross-curricular learning experiences that build both skills and confidence."
Even cafeteria duty — which, apparently, some teachers don't unconditionally love and embrace (?) — is something Feliz treats as an opportunity to make a difference. She gloves up, picks up trays, and happily lends a hand without being asked. That's just her — she never hesitates to step in wherever help is needed, and her teamwork and willingness to serve truly stand out.
“Mrs. Feliz leads with heart," said Int. South Assistant Principal Leigh Madigan. "She doesn’t just teach skills — she teaches kindness, responsibility, and how to care for others. Our students are better because of her.”
Feliz's impact is felt across the building.
“Regina is the definition of ‘All In,’" added Daniel. "No matter the situation, she’s the first to jump in and help. She models teamwork and compassion every single day.”
Do you know about the Seminole Foursome? The values the school strives to abide by? Possibly they'll be revealed if we simply describe the average day for Regina Feliz:
She is Respectful in how she treats everyone, Responsible in her unwavering commitment to her students and school, Honest in her genuine care, and Tolerant as she fosters a welcoming, supportive environment where all feel valued.
"She reminds us what it means to live our motto — One Team, One Tribe, All In," said Madigan. "We are so grateful to have her as part of our Seminole family.
Thank you, Mrs. Feliz, for being such a bright light in our school community!"
