Aug. 8, 2023-- The RWJBarnabas Health Field of Dreams, founded by High School North teacher Christian Kane, has been the site of numerous fun and inclusive community events since it officially opened last year. Now, it's the subject of two documentaries which are up for Emmy Awards.

ABC's "Field of Dreams is Heaven on Earth for Special Needs Families," has been nominated for Emmy Award in the category Societal Concerns- Short Form Content. Likewise, in the category of Sports Story- News, the PBS/News12 production titled "Field of Dreams," is in the running for television's most prestigious award.

"We are so thankful to the teams at ABC and PBS for sharing our story, and a major congratulations to those behind the scenes of each documentary," said RWJBarnabas Health Field of Dreams Assistant Program Director Brielle Mowad in a message announcing the good news.
