June 5, 2026- Cedar Grove Elementary School proudly hosted its very first Career Day for the fifth-grade students June 3. The Patriots welcomed an incredible group of community professionals who generously shared their career journeys, experiences, and advice to help inspire the next generation of leaders.

Students had the opportunity to learn from a diverse range of presenters, including an engineer, nurse, sheriff’s lieutenant, K-9 handler, tattoo artist, hospitality director, and a USAF boom operator. Each presenter offered valuable insight into their profession and demonstrated that there are many different paths to a successful and fulfilling career.

"A heartfelt thank you to all of our presenters for taking the time to invest in our students and inspire future professionals," said Cedar Grove special education teacher Paige LaDuca, who helped organize the event. "Your stories, experiences, and encouragement made a lasting impact on our fifth graders. Career Day was a tremendous success, and we are so grateful for the support of our community!"
