July 14, 2025- About a year ago, an update revealed that the Securing Our Children's Future grant— through which the district was installing generators at Intermediate East, High School East, and High School North— was moving along. Now, the project is almost complete.

In fact, the work at High School North and High School East is complete, while the finishing touches for Intermediate East are slated to take place next month.

As the photos here can attest, the project has involved a significant amount of manpower and machine power, but the power and sense of security it will generate for three of the district's biggest buildings will make everything well worth the effort.
