Safe trick or treat at High School South

The Interact Club, in partnership with the Key Club and the Hispanic Heritage Club, hosted a spirited Safe Trick-or-Treat event at High School South, made possible through a generous grant from the Toms River Educational Association. The event welcomed local families and children to enjoy a fun and secure Halloween experience as they trick-or-treated through the decorated halls of the school. The evening was filled with costumes, candy, and community spirit — all while supporting a meaningful cause. Although admission was free, attendees were encouraged to bring nonperishable food donations. Thanks to the generosity of the community, the clubs collected 213 pounds of canned and dry goods, which were donated to Fulfill Food Bank to help local families in need. “This event truly captured the spirit of South — bringing people together for fun while giving back to our community,” said one student organizer.
