Feb. 19, 2026- Students from Intermediate North seeking leadership lessons — the school's mentees — visited Complete Care at Bey Lea yesterday as part of the Communities That Care initiative.

It was, according to Int. North guidance counselor Dana Marquis, a truly "heartwarming experience."

Students created special art crafts for the residents to proudly display in their rooms. More importantly, the visit was marked by meaningful conversations, shared stories, laughter, and so much joy. Residents wore smiles throughout the time and expressed how much the students' visit had brightened their day.

"We are incredibly proud of how empathetic and kind our students were to the residents," said Marquis. "They truly represented our school community beautifully."

Marquis was joined by Intermediate North colleagues David Fanslau and Jacqueline Jennings, as well as CTC's Amy Carreno, all of whom "supported and guided our mentor program, and made this special day possible."

Nice work, mentees!
