April 20, 2020-- The COVID-19 pandemic has kept many musicians at home, with few outlets to find musical inspiration. An idea, however, was hatched to gather musicians from around the world to play a piece written for the current situation, "A Song of Hope." A Facebook group called "Mega-Ensemble from Home" was established, and much planning and mixing ensued.
Composed and organized by Sachio Nang, the song has more than 100 individual tracks, all played by musicians from across the globe, including High School South's Ryan Huston on saxophone.
More background and information about the song, including a full list of credited musicians, can be found at the video's direct YouTube link. Congratulations to Ryan and his musical peers from around the world for creating a beautiful and inspiring piece of art!
