June 4, 2026- Students from the Intermediate East Chorus took part in the largest children’s choir in the world on June 3, performing at the Prudential Center in Newark as part of the American Young Voices Concert.

The 115-member chorus joined 7,000 students from across the region for the high-energy performance, which featured a variety of contemporary and Broadway-inspired music. Special guest performers included Broadway stars Oluchi Nwaokorie from Wicked and Okieriete Onaodowan from Hamilton.

The unforgettable concert experience gave students the opportunity to perform on a major stage while celebrating the power of music, collaboration, and community through song.
