Int. South Celebrates 20 Years With Staff Shindig

May 27, 2025- Back in September, Intermediate South celebrated 20 years with a community-wide party. On May 16, the celebration continued, but at a special function exclusively for Seminole staff members.

The 20th anniversary staff party honored two decades of dedication, growth, and school spirit. Teachers, administrators, and support staff—past and present—came together to reflect on the school’s journey and the many memories made along the way.

Held at the Lacey Elks, the event featured a delicious dinner, lots of dancing, fun times in the photo booth, many shared stories, and a nostalgic trip down memory lane with a video slideshow and 19 years worth of yearbooks. From the first day the school opened its doors in 2005 to the present, the night was a testament to the hardworking individuals who’ve shaped Intermediate South into the strong educational community it is today.

Principal Gluck, Intermediate South's only principal thus far, delivered a heartfelt speech, thanking everyone for their enduring commitment and passion for education over the past 20 years.

When you're the longest-tenured and, well, only principal in the school's 20-year history, you get your own class ring.

The evening was filled with laughter, camaraderie, and a deep sense of pride. As Intermediate South looks ahead to the next 20 years, one thing is clear: the spirit of the South community and excellence remains as strong as ever.
