Jan. 24, 2024-- What's high school really like? is a question that can only truly be answered by high schoolers. And that was the thought process behind an event held this morning at Intermediate North.

The school hosted High School North's Transition Panel, which provided eighth graders an opportunity to inquire about a day in the life of a high school student.

Students at Intermediate North asked a series of questions pertaining to academics, sports, clubs, and activities. The panel shared all of the positive experiences they've had while attending HSN, and offered students inspiring perspectives on how to make the most of their transition from middle school to high school.

"Our goal with this presentation was to assist in offering the eighth graders some real-world exposure to the positive academic and social experiences that await them when they move on to high school," said Intermediate North Guidance Coordinator Anthony Dispoto.

"It is important to Intermediate North that our students see their promotion to ninth grade as a celebrated event, full of wonderful opportunities and experiences," he added.
