Sept. 16, 2026- It started with representatives from Lester Glenn Subaru of Toms River deciding to "adopt" Pine Beach Elementary and make a generous investment in the school's students and staff. At the outset of the new 2026-2027 school year, a cohort of PBE teachers were given $500 each by the dealership to purchase classroom supplies, allowing those educators to select resources that directly supported the needs of their students and enhanced learning in their classrooms.

But that wasn't all. Yesterday, representatives from Lester Glenn Subaru visited Pine Beach to personally deliver Subaru Loves Learning Class Packs to staff and meet with Panther students.

"Community partnerships like this have a tremendous impact on our school," said Pine Beach Principal Tricia Tutzauer. "This generous support provides teachers with valuable materials, helps create engaging and well-equipped learning environments, and shows our students and staff that their community believes in them and is invested in their success."

The excitement was palpable as the learning packs were shared with teachers, who in turned presented the contents to students (above). Crayons, markers, educational games, and sensory activities were among the goodies.

"Thank you, Lester Glenn Subaru of Toms River, for supporting Pine Beach Elementary and helping our Panthers learn, grow, and thrive," Tutzauer said.
