Dec. 18, 2025- Graduates from Intermediate East and current staff members at the school joined forces for a very cool holiday event this week.

It's called Pizza with Santa, and in addition to a tasty meal, the family-friendly event features an audience with the Big Man himself — including storytime — and some special gifts for area youngsters.

Even with toys at stake, and the warm atmosphere, good food, and holiday vibes, Kris Kringle can still be a little intimidating for some kids.

It proved to be a memorable holiday event, and Int. East Principal James Cleveland was blown away by the generosity.

"To have this school hold such a place in the hearts of our alumni and staff members is such a beautiful thing," Cleveland said, "and to see that manifest in holiday moments for these kids is even more special."
