Schools Say Thank You to Veterans

November 11, 2025 -- On Veterans Day, the Cedar Grove PTO sponsored a breakfast for some special heroes. After breakfast, veterans were celebrated by the cheering "Proud Patriots" lining the hallways. Veterans made some classroom visits to share stories and thanks. It was an exciting and emotional morning!

To honor and recognize Veterans Day, students in Miss Grippaldi’s and Miss Cangelosi’s first-grade classes at Citta School created cards and wrote letters of thanks for veterans living at Magnolia Gardens in Toms River.

Parade of support



Per tradition, Toms River Regional Schools played a big role in the annual downtown Veterans Day Parade. Bands, cheerleaders, flag bearers, color guard members, and more marched down Washington Street today to thank and honor veterans throughout greater Toms River, Ocean Country, and the country. Allison Goodwin captured the participation of High School East and Intermediate East students.
