Sept. 25, 2026- There was a little extra sparkle, a lot of big hair, and plenty of country flair throughout Intermediate South today, as staff celebrated Undercover Spirit Day ... Dolly Parton style.
Throughout the day, students were challenged to figure out the secret theme as staff members arrived dressed in their best Dolly-inspired looks. From denim and rhinestones to cowboy boots and larger-than-life hair, Seminoles were definitely “Working 9 to 5” on 9/25!
Undercover Spirit Days are all about creating fun, building connections, and giving students another reason to feel proud to be part of the school community, according to Int. South leaders.
“The best part of days like this is watching our students notice the little details, laugh with their teachers, and try to figure out what we’re up to," said Assistant Principal Leigh Madigan.
"School spirit is about creating a place where students and staff feel connected, and today was such a fun example of that," added Assistant Principal Casey Daniel. "We loved seeing our Seminole community embrace it!”
The school thanked its Seminole Spirit Advisors and PTO for helping bring the fun and spirit to the school.
"Their enthusiasm and creativity continue to help make our school a place where Passion Meets Purpose ... what a fun Friday to be a Seminole," said Daniel, who added a teaser for next time:
"Who knows what our staff will be undercover as next?"
