July 14, 2026- "I'm not sure I can handle this," said one mother holding back tears as she watched her child pose for senior portraits on the stage of the High School North auditorium, light bulbs flashing. "This one's my baby."

And so it is, mere weeks after graduating the Class of 2026 that the district's Class of 2027 takes seniority, and their accompanying portraits.

Lors Photography had set up shop in the Maria Ressa Auditorium today, helping rising Mariner seniors look their best for the defining photos of their educational journey. We couldn't help but snap some behind-the-scenes photos ourselves of the bittersweet summer session, as a new crop of seniors takes the stage, literally and figuratively.
