June 20, 2022-- High School East Class of 2015 graduate Tyler Sinou returned to his middle school alma mater of Intermediate East this past Friday, but this was a more special return than most.

Tyler was returning from his deployment at the Ukrainian/Poland border, and also to surprise his sister, Payton, before her eighth-grade graduation. Payton, who had no knowledge of her brother's return, was filled with emotion, and the staff at Intermediate East-- including school nurse Lisa Butler, who helped arrange the visit--was able to capture the moment in a photo. Welcome home, Tyler!
