July 22, 2026- North Dover Preschool ESY (extended school year) recently wrapped up another wonderful week of learning, laughter, and connection. To celebrate a successful Week 2, students and staff concluded with a school-wide dance party, filling the building with music, smiles, and plenty of energy.
The week also featured a "Have You Seen My Ocean Animal?" staff appreciation game, through which 15 hidden ocean animals made their way around the building, encouraging staff to connect with one another while adding a little extra fun to the school day. Participants competed for 15 prizes, all made possible through the generosity of local businesses.
"A heartfelt thank you to our community sponsors for supporting our amazing ESY staff," said district behavioral analyst Sarah Strazzella.
Those sponsors included Chik-Fil-A of Brick, Monster Mini Golf of Eatontown, Dunkin' Donuts/Baskin-Robbins of Toms River, Mister Softee, and Turning Point.
"Their generosity helped recognize the incredible dedication of the educators, therapists, paraprofessionals, and support staff who make a positive impact on our youngest learners each day," said Strazzella. "As we continue swimming through ESY, we're grateful for the enthusiasm of our students, the commitment of our staff, the leadership of ESY Supervisor Gina Rios, and the support of our local community. We can't wait to see what the rest of the summer brings!"
