April 2, 2019-- After numerous attempts, High School East School Resource Officer Scott Kenny was finally able to convince the U.S. Army to bring its STEAM trailer to the school, which it did March 28 and 29.

STEAM Academy and non-STEAM Academy students alike were able to enjoy the two-day event, during which they virtually jumped from an Army helicopter, competed in real-life pull-up contests, and practiced their robotic skills with the Army robot. Additional photos below.
