Another COE Makes it a Dozen for Dynamic Duo
April 15, 2026
- It might not quite be a baker's dozen, but we'll shorten it to a
BA
's dozen. And BA William Doering and Board Secretary Wendy Saxton have every reason to smile (left), as ASBO International has
once more
awarded the duo and the district its Certificate of Excellence (COE) in Financial Reporting, making it 12 straight years Toms River Regional Schools has received this recognition. "This award represents a significant achievement and reflects your commitment to transparency and high-quality financial reporting," wrote ASBO International CEO James Rowan in a letter to Doering. The fantastic streak is an excellent and appropriate finish to the career of the longtime board secretary, as Saxton announced her retirement at last month's board meeting after more than
four
decades serving Toms River Schools. Kudos!
